SUNNYSIDE (Wednesday, 5-24-00)---The Chinese perfected the "death of a thousand cuts" awhile back, during which an executioner sliced away piecemeal on a victim rather than completing the grisly job with the quick stroke of a sword. The desired end was the same--the victim's death.
So it goes with Democrats and the Second Amendment. The Constitution very simply states that "Congress shall make no law that infringes upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms." Politicians, knowing the American people would never allow them to abolish the Second Amendment with a single stroke, have decided to pursue the death of a thousand cuts. The end will be the same: Americans ultimately will lose their Second Amendment rights. Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) is a politician who couches the gradual demise of the Second Amendment in terms of "common sense" and "safety concerns". "Similar to the president, I will continue to support reasonable measures that will restrict gun violence and improve firearm enforcement, while providing the least possible inconvenience to law-abiding gun owners," Murray told the Yakima Valley News (Guns aren't violent--people are. These recent scenes
were perpetrated by state (fed) thugs for the
federal-democrat Clinton regime. Note the military weapons
used against American citizens. THE SECOND AMENDMENT to the
Constitution gives citizens the right to possess arms equal
to those available to government. Yet Democrats are striving
to take away even handguns.
That means, among other sinister things, the Tri-City Herald, Yakima Herald Republic, and TV media stand to cash in on government propaganda efforts. Soon.
Murray did not respond to this information YVN obtained from the Yakima County Prosecutor's office. Meanwhile, democrats frown upon individuals who are determined to protect themselves--not only from street thugs but state thugs as well. |
