- SUNNYSIDE (Wednesday
10-20-99)---The Sunnyside City Manager selection
process has narrowed candidates to three "after
extensive review" accordingto
reports.

- Mayor Ed Prilucik said
the City Manager Screening Committee originally
forwarded seven applicants to the Council for
consideration.

- "The Council heavily
discussed each applicant's qualifications and
requested that the next four applicants, as scored
by the Screening Committee, be included for
consideration," Prilucik said.

- "We're now extending
invitations to three of the applicants to
participate in interviews. The interviews will be
conducted by the City Council in executive session
within the next few weeks," he
said.

- Successful applicants
are from Idaho, Wisconsin and
Washington.

- "Residents of the
community may submit questions to be asked of the
applicants during the executive session interview
process," Prilucik said.

residents should be forwarded to a City Council
member or the mayor by Wednesday, October 27. For
