Felon photos depend on PD requests

Somebody passes bogus $50s,$100s

RICHLAND (Sunday 6-27-99)---Somebody in the area is passing fake 50-dollar and 100-dollar bills according to complaints to police here.

 

Bogus bills included:

• A counterfeit $100 bill passed at Richland Sun Mart, 106 Gage Blvd. June 22.
• A bogus $50 bill was passed at HAPO Community Credit Union, 601 Williams, on June 24.
• Several ripped-up, phony $50 bills a man found while walking the bike path on the east side of Volpentest Bridge June 27.

Richland police asked the community to be aware of their cash transactions and notify banks or local police of suspicious currency.
