- Former
Yakima man sues feds after IRS takes his home in
'95
- YAKIMA (Wednesday
6-16-99)---A former Yakima man, Jim Russell, has
sued Washington Senators Patty
Murray and Slade
Gorton,
along with Vice President Al Gore, after the
local
IRS took
Russell's home here in 1995.
-
- The trio have so far
not responded to summons or commented upon the suit
filed March 19. The suit doesn't specifically ask
for damage reparations.
-
- If, however, the court
acknowledges a bogus government has been operating
since 1913, it would clear the way for Russell's
demanding his properties back from ravenous feds.
It would also undo every decision made by the
world's most powerful government the past 86
years.
-
- So far, the score is
Goliath-all, David-zip. But the slingshot event is
expected in weeks to come.
-
- Russell's 23-page suit
and supporting documents outline how states
rights--and therefore his own--were usurped when in
1913 the U.S. Senate became popularly elected
rather than appointed by state
legislatures.
-
- In his suit, Russell
cites the Constitution's 17th
Amendment
for creating a supremely powerful central and
socialist government which allows feds to apply
illegal pressure on individuals while trampling
their costitutional rights.
-
- Russell believes the
feds--including local
agents of the
IRS-- used
this enormous power to take his 10206 Tieton Drive
property--and other properties--from him and his
wife in 1995.
-
- Russell filed the case
in Yakima
County Superior
Court
because he trusts neither the feds nor federal
courts. Superior Court has all powers needed to
hear the case.
-
- In his suit, Russell
has demanded a 12-man jury trial, with local jurors
who are aware they have nullification
powers of
which most persons are ignorant.
-
- No Superior Court
judge has been named to hear the
trial, nor has
a trial date been set, according to County Clerk
staff.
