Fire scene may be a meth lab
KENNEWICK (Monday, 5-17-99)---A man was badly burned at around 9 a.m. today after a suspected methamphetamine lab accident set a trailer home on fire at 3602 E. Highland Extension.

Deputies arrived and found the trailer engulfed in flames. They also gave aid to a man at the scene, who had been burned around the head, face and arms.

Deputies said Zachariah L. Marshall, 20, was transported to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, then air-lifted to Harbor View Burn Center in Seattle.

Sheriff's officers have secured the fire scene and state police were asked to check out the possibility of a lab at the address, according to BCSO Capt. Jerry Hatcher. The investigation is continuing.
