Burglars Arrested
SUNNYSIDE (4-17-98)--Sunnyside police nailed two burglars Wednesday in the 1500 block of South 8th Street.

Police said when they arrived one of the men was walking out of the residence, carrying a box of stuff and a loaded shotgun.

When the guy spotted the officers, he dropped the box and ran back into the house. Another burglar was inside the place.

Police said the two men had ransacked the house, piled goods next to the door and were about to flee when officers arrived.

Officers Jeff Cunningham and Jarin Whitby arrested Jaime Solis, 23, of 207 Zillah Ave., and Hector Magana, 24, 1100 S. 15th St., both Sunnyside, at the 8th St. residence.

Solis and Magana were taken to the Yakima County Jail to await arraignment.

SUNNYSIDE (4-9-98 )--A 19-year-old man has been arrested
for passing a counterfeit check drawn on the account of Valley View
Market, 107 W. Lincoln Ave., according to Sunnyside police.

Detective Kent Coffman reported the man produced false

identification and forged a false name to the check, cashing it for
more than $250.

Police earlier arrested Javier Carrazco, 910 E. Lincoln

Ave., Sunnyside, on charges of having no valid operator's license
before Valley View reported the crime. Afterward, Carrazco was
