Bleyhl's is Land O' Lakes

SUNNYSIDE (2-8-98)--The Sunnyside City Council will reconsider extending a fuel purchasing agreement with Bleyhl Farm Services at its workshop meeting set for 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

Bleyhl's has been sold to Land O' Lakes farm coop, headquartered in Seattle. The new group is expected to take possession of Bleyhl assets later this month.

The council will also review applications for liquor licenses from TM Market, 6th St. and Yakima Valley Highway, and the Knights of Columbus for a special event at St. Joseph School.

In other business the council:

• Will hear Gary Potter and staff report on the status of the E. Lincoln Ave. Reconstsruction Project.
• Discuss the Martinez latecomer agreement
• Discuss a proposed city council retreat for mayor and staff
• Consider dates for a special workshop meeting to discuss qualifications for a new city manager, and the selection process.
• Set the agenda for the Feb. 16 meeting.
• Agenda items are subject to change. Meeting formats always include a place for input from the public and new issues raised by councilmembers.
